It is issued in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR – Regulation (EU) 2016/679) and the amended French Data Protection Act (loi Informatique et Libertés).

Data collected and purposes
We collect and process your personal data in the following contexts:

a) Contact form
Data collected: surname, first name, email address, telephone number, message.
Purpose: to respond to your request for information.
Legal basis: legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Retention period: 3 years from the last contact.

b) Online shop
Data collected: surname, first name, postal address, email address, telephone number, date of birth (age verification), order history. Payment data is processed directly by our payment service provider and is not stored by Vitteaut-Alberti.
Purpose: processing and tracking orders, invoicing, after-sales service, and compliance with legal obligations (in particular tax obligations and those relating to the sale of alcohol).
Legal basis: performance of a contract (Article 6(1)(b)) and legal obligation (Article 6(1)(c)).
Retention period: 3 years after the last order for commercial data; 10 years for accounting and tax records.

c) Customer account
Data collected: login credentials, contact details, purchase history, preferences.
Purpose: managing the customer account and providing easy access to orders and personal information.
Legal basis: performance of a contract (Article 6(1)(b)).
Retention period: until the user deletes the account, or after 3 years of inactivity.

d) Booking tours and tastings (via Regiondo)
Data collected: surname, first name, email address, telephone number, number of participants, date of visit.
Purpose: managing bookings for tours and tastings at the estate.
Legal basis: performance of a contract (Article 6(1)(b)).
Retention period: 3 years from the last booking.

e) Age verification
Data collected: date of birth.
Purpose: compliance with the legal prohibition on selling alcohol to minors.
Legal basis: legal obligation (Article 6(1)(c)).
Retention period: duration of the browsing session.

Recipients of data
Your data is intended for authorised internal departments of Vitteaut-Alberti. It may be shared with our technical subcontractors strictly as necessary for them to carry out their tasks:

  • Infomaniak (hosting – Switzerland, a country recognised by the European Commission as providing adequate protection)
  • Propulse (technical website maintenance – France)
  • Regiondo (booking management – Germany, EU)
  • Payment service provider for online shop transactions
  • Meta (Facebook/Instagram) via the Meta Pixel – transfers to the United States governed by the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses and the Data Privacy Framework
  • Google via Google Analytics – transfers to the United States under the same conditions

Your data is never sold or transferred to third parties for commercial purposes.

Transfers outside the European Union
Some of our service providers (Meta, Google) may process data in the United States. These transfers are governed by the mechanisms provided for by the GDPR (Standard Contractual Clauses, participation in the Data Privacy Framework).

Your rights
Under the GDPR, you have the following rights regarding your personal data:
